Installing a sink or a hob in the kitchen island is practical but requires good planning. Make sure you have enough space around it to work comfortably. Also, plan for an appropriate odor and steam extraction system.

You can take advantage of the space under the kitchen island to install practical storage. Consider drawers, pull-out baskets, or niches to store your most frequently used utensils, dishes, and provisions.

Appropriate lighting is essential to highlight your kitchen island. Opt for pendant lights or LED spotlights positioned directly above for functional and stylish lighting. You can also add integrated spotlights in the worktops for a warm ambiance.
