Bathroom Pendant Light

A bathroom pendant light is suitable for humid environments (IP44+). It provides stylish lighting in the room.

Mistake: a pendant light that does not comply with the IP standard in the water spray zone. Check your bathroom's NF C 15-100 zones.

The size of the bathroom pendant light depends on the available space and your decor style. As a general rule, choose a pendant light whose diameter or width does not exceed two-thirds of the surface area of your vanity unit or bathtub.

To ensure safety, make sure your bathroom pendant light is waterproof (minimum IP44 rating) and installed at a sufficient height, out of reach of water splashes. Also, ensure that the bulb used is suitable for use in a humid environment.

The most suitable materials for a bathroom pendant light are metal (chrome, stainless steel) and tempered glass. Avoid wood, which would not withstand humidity. Choose finishes that match the rest of your bathroom decoration.

Position your bathroom pendant light to effectively illuminate your wash or shower area. Place it above the vanity unit or bathtub, making sure it does not interfere with the use of these fixtures.

You can install a bathroom pendant light in different ways: fixed to the ceiling, suspended by a rod or cable, or integrated into a ceiling light. Choose the solution best suited to your configuration and decor style.
