Fixed Shower Screen

A fixed screen is a glass panel without a door. The entrance is open: you enter and exit freely.

The fixed screen should be at least 8mm tempered glass. Width 90-120 cm. Wall or ceiling stabilization bar. Transparent glass for light, anti-limescale treatment for easy maintenance.

Mistake: a fixed screen that is too narrow (70 cm) allows water to splash out. 90 cm minimum to effectively contain water.

A fixed shower screen offers more space in the shower, a feeling of openness and brightness. It also makes accessing and cleaning the shower easier compared to a hinged or sliding door.

The main materials used for fixed shower screens are tempered glass, frosted glass, and acrylic. Each material offers advantages in terms of transparency, resistance, and ease of maintenance.

The size of the fixed shower screen depends on the available space in your bathroom. Generally, a width between 90 and 120 cm is recommended for a comfortable and functional shower.

To keep your fixed glass shower screen clean, regularly clean it with a product specifically for glass surfaces. Avoid abrasive products that could scratch the glass. Dry thoroughly after each use to prevent limescale marks.

For a fixed shower screen, a height between 190 and 200 cm is generally recommended to prevent splashes and maintain privacy in the shower. This height clearly delineates the shower space while ensuring good protection against water splashes.
