Backlight

Backlighting is placed behind an object. It creates a halo that highlights and reduces eye strain.

Backlighting with an LED strip behind the TV (bias lighting), behind a mirror, or under a floating piece of furniture. Warm white LEDs (2700K) for ambiance, neutral (4000K) for a mirror.

Mistake: backlighting that is too powerful, dazzling rather than creating a soft halo. Opt for a low power (5-10W/m) for subtlety.

Ensure that the backlighting is securely fixed and safe, especially if it is in a humid area like a bathroom. Also, make sure that the cables are well hidden for an optimal aesthetic result.
