Bath Mat

A bath mat provides comfort and safety when stepping out of the shower. Made of thick cotton, microfiber, or bamboo, it absorbs water and warms your feet.

For a bath mat: non-slip backing, minimum 900g/m² terrycloth. Coordinate it with your towels for a cohesive look.

Mistake: a bath mat that slips on wet tiles. A non-slip backing is a matter of safety.

A quality bath mat can generally last between 2 to 5 years, depending on its use and maintenance. Choose resistant materials like terry cotton or microfiber to extend the life of your bath mat.

Bamboo is a very trendy material for bath mats. It offers the advantage of being natural, non-slip, and antibacterial. Furthermore, bamboo dries quickly and resists humidity well, making it an excellent choice for the bathroom.

To keep your bath mat in good condition, wash it regularly in the machine on a delicate cycle and at a low temperature. Avoid the dryer and prefer flat drying. You can also refresh it by shaking and brushing it from time to time.

The size of the bath mat depends on the area to be covered. Choose a mat large enough to comfortably accommodate your feet when stepping out of the shower or bath. A 60 x 100 cm model is generally suitable for a standard shower, while an 80 x 120 cm mat will be more appropriate for a bathtub.

Neutral colors like white, gray, or beige are always safe bets for a bath mat. However, you can also dare brighter shades like blue, green, or yellow to add a touch of freshness to your bathroom.
