Curtain Rod

A curtain rod is the bar that holds the curtains. Made of metal, wood, or cable, it's an often-underestimated decorative detail.

Choose a brass curtain rod for chic, matte black for graphic, or wood for natural. It should be 15-20 cm wider than the window on each side.

Pitfall: a curtain rod that sags in the middle under the weight of the curtains. Add a central support for wider spans.

You can choose from different materials for your curtain rod: metal (wrought iron, steel, aluminum), wood (oak, beech, pine), or even cable. Each material offers a unique aesthetic that will match your decor.

To measure the length of curtain rod you need, start by measuring the width of the window or the space where the curtains will be installed. Add approximately 30 cm on each side so that the curtains can clear completely. This will give you the size of curtain rod to choose.
