An ottoman is an upholstered seat without a backrest or armrests, wider than a pouf. It serves as a footrest, a seat, or a coffee table with a tray.

An ottoman with internal storage is clever: a seat + storage in one piece of furniture. In velvet or leather, it elevates the living room.
