Coffee Table

The coffee table is the nerve center of the living room. Functional and decorative, it brings together and structures the living space. Ideal height: at the level of the sofa's seat.

For a coffee table: the height should match the sofa's seat (generally 40-45 cm). The shape depends on the space: round for fluidity, rectangular for structure.

Mistake: a coffee table that is too large or too small for the sofa. In proportion, it should be about 2/3 of the sofa's length.

You can choose from different coffee table styles: classic, modern, industrial, Scandinavian, etc. Opt for a style that harmonizes with the rest of your living room decor for overall coherence.

The choice of material for your coffee table depends on your decorating style. Wood, glass, metal, or marble are all suitable materials. Consider the maintenance and sturdiness required for your use.

The size of your coffee table should be proportionate to the size of your living room. It should not be too large to appear cumbersome, nor too small to be functional. Measure the available space before making your choice.

Place your coffee table at a good distance from the sofa, between 40 and 60 cm, to be able to use it comfortably. Also, ensure it does not obstruct movement in the living room.

You can adorn your coffee table with decorative objects, such as a vase, candles, a tray, or books. However, avoid overcrowding it to maintain its functional aspect.
